This pattern is a perfect summer knitting staple.

This pattern is a new pattern from Twin Knits and the moment we saw it we fell in love. With the beautiful braid cabling pattern and the simple silhouette it’s quickly gone onto our “to make” list.

We recommend Önling No 1 for a lightweight but warm and beautiful version or Ito So Kosho held with Ito Sensai. Either option is great!

Oslo Sweater by Petite Knit

This pattern is a wonderfully fitting basic crew neck which is something everyone can use in their wardrobe. Even more fun if you made it for yourself.

We recommend Illimani Feli for a fuzzy and delightful super soft version as seen in this sample photo or, Önling No 1 for a lightweight warmer version. We have had customers make this sweater with the Önling and it’s just gorgeous and perfect for everyday.

Library Sweater Light by Lily Reid

We recently launched our newest sweater pattern the Library Light is a perfect wear everyday style and we can’t wait to make more!

The original pattern uses Ito Kosho + Sensai but we can also recommend, Illimani Feli for a fuzzy and delightful super soft version or, Ito Sensai held double for a light as air feel and a gorgeous halo.

Swirl Slipover by Twin Knits

We simply cannot get over this beautiful and simplistic cable pattern. With perfect proportions this looks just so much fun to make and wear. Twin Knits’ patterns are fantastic and every one of them is something we want to make. This vest (also available in a full sweater pattern here) is a must make.

A wonderfully fun way to add a pop of color to a staple sweater. Though it may be a simple shape the contrast color piping is a fantastic colorful touch.

Kristine Cardigan by Zanete Knits

This sweater is absolutely stunning with the tall collar and the beautiful stitch structure it’s a cardigan for a lifetime. While simple in appearance, it is definitely not a beginner project with brioche and fisherman’s rib stitches and small needles it is a labor intensive sweater. The Designer also suggests using 3 strands of laceweight yarn held together, allowing knitters to experiment with marling and create uniquely coloured fabric. Whatever you choose it’s bound to be wonderful.

We recommend Ito Kosho held with Ito Sensai or for a special more luxurious sweater Ito Karei held with Ito Sensai.

This sweater pattern is full of beautiful design details (especially along the raglan) that really elevate a simple and very wearable design. Judith made the boat neck version and added a split hem for a special touch as well as shortening the sleeves to bracelet length. This pattern is truly a beauty. It is also highly customizable with a lot of pattern options included (turtle neck, vest, crew neck, etc)

The Neighbor Sweater by Millamila

A gorgeous sweater perfect for the spring season! the i-cord edging and the keyhole back make this feel very feminine and beautiful. A fun project to knit and a very pretty result.

We recommend two strands of Ito Sensai held together for the same look as the original, or, if you’d like something a bit more sturdy you can use Ito Kosho held with Ito Sensai. You will still get the beautiful halo but it will be slightly less sheer and a bit more resilient of a fabric.

Soho Top is a classic sleeveless summer top with a boatneck style neckline. It is constructed from the top down giving it an advantage for adjusting the length of the body.

We would recommend Joseph Galler Alpaca for this as it’s just the perfect fit for this pattern but, if you want a cotton version, It would also look amazing out of Illimani Santi held double.

Stripe Overload Polo by Spektakelstrik

This wonderfully whimsical sweater is just so cute we couldn’t resist. Perfect to wear with jeans or a skirt and will be a great transitional piece for the autumn season.

For a summery version you can use Illimani Sabri II with it’s perfect blend of cotton & alpaca, or, if you want a more wintery version we would recommend using Onling No 1. How great would the light grey and blue look together in stripes?!

This is a great simple sweater pattern that is easy to wear and looks especially nice when made with a simple but beautiful yarn. Judith made this pink version using Ito Kosho in the color Rose held together with Sensai in the color Azalea. It would also look amazing out of Illimani Santi.

Cumulus Blouse by Petite Knits

The simplest and most gorgeous springtime knit. Perfect made with: two strands of Ito Sensai, Illimani Sabri perfect for summer, 1 strand of Isager Alpaca 2 held with 1 strand of Ito Sensai, or 1 strand of Ito Kosho held with 1 strand of Ito Sensai. There are so many beautiful options for this design! Really any fingering weight yarn would be beautiful if just depends on if you want a more summery knit or a warmer knit for the cooler months.

Miromesnil Pattern by Cléonis

Judith made one of these last spring using Ito Cotton Gima 8.5 held with Ito Sensai and she says it’s her favorite Spring/Summer knit she has ever made. The Cotton Gima holds it’s shape very well (unlike some cotton yarns) due to the tape style of yarn it is and the Sensai adds just a touch of halo and softness. Judith made the non pleated version.

This is a beautiful sweater that is so easy to wear, fits well, and is fun to knit too. Judith made hers using Isager Alpaca 2 held together with Ito Sensai. It would also be stunning made out of Illimani Santi on it’s own.

Sweater No. 14 by My Favorite Things Knitwear

A simple cozy sweater made with a fuzzy yarn that gives it a super pretty halo. A sweater you will never want to take off! Slightly boxy fit and the extended ribbing is a fashion detail that is a nice addition to it’s more classic silhouette. We think Illimani Amelie is perfect for this because it is soft as anything and also is a chainette construction so it won’t pill or feel heavy.

This is a perfect wear with everything sweater. Simple construction and making it with önling No. 1 is (in our opinion) the perfect combination. The blend of merino and angora compliment the simpler style amazingly and it’s so soft and comfortable.

Porter Cardigan by Beatrice Perron Dahlen

If you are just wanted to explore the idea of a cabled sweater, this is a great start. The double moss base stitch is very pretty and durable. Lily made this using Woolstok from Blu Sky Fibers shown in the swatch and it’s stunning as well as easy to wear. Woolstok has great stitch definition and wears beautifully overtime never looking tired or shabby.

Gauge: 15 stitches x 24 rows to 4 inches in seed stitch on size US 9 needles.

Pattern includes sizes 31 1/4 inches - 54 3/4 inches bust.
